Photographer, Jodi McConaghy will be taking photographs at the Blue Mountains/Nepean Dance Festival.

Photographs are taken of each dance group on the day of their rehearsal, after the group has rehearsed.

To stream-line this process we advise teachers who want a particular pose for their group, to have this organised before-hand so the children can move into their positions quickly.

Dancers need to be in costumes for the rehearsals, so this is the most advantageous time to take photos.

Schools must have filled in the media release form and given it to the committee prior to the photos being taken.  Schools are responsible for checking parental permission is given for each student in their groups. 

Photos from the preceding year may be used by the dance festival on the programs.

The Blue Mountains/Nepean Dance Festival will never share photos on social media.

Photographs may be ordered via the pre-order envelopes given to the students at the school and returned to the photographer at the Joan Sutherland centre at the rehearsals, or from the centre at the concerts.

Delivery of photos is to the schools and is arranged by the photographer.
